Koh Rong Samloem, Cambodia

While in Cambodia I visited Koh Rong Samloem, an island off the south west coast. Staying in the M`pei Bay village for the first week or so, I enjoyed the vibrance and friendliness of the place, and each morning walked along the beach in the company of a couple of local dogs, one of whom I called “One-eyed Jack” and the other “Jack`s Mate”. Keen to photograph the local culture, Hornbills and whatever other wildlife I encountered.

From there to Mangrove Beach Bungalows at the southern end of Saracen Bay for another week, from where I hiked high up into the mountains, drenched in sweat from the heat and humidity. A thoroughly enjoyable couple of weeks.
